Re: Considering buying used 2015 Spark EV with 22K miles

What Miles/kWh do you get on the trip meter when reset before a day of driving. Because if you get less that 4.4 Miles/kWh, then the culprit is more likely your driving style / condition than the battery degradation. A rough estimate of the usable capacity of the battery when new is 19kWh. The EPA E...

Re: Considering buying used 2015 Spark EV with 22K miles

3.4mi/kWh means it was driven hard or in hard conditions, it does not really reflect the battery condition. But it would explain why the guess O meter is estimating a low range. In my experience, it can take over 3 days of a new driving style/condition for the range estimate to adjust to them. So a ...

Finding the date of first registration

I am trying to figure out when my battery warranty will expire on my used 2014. My registration only mention the year (2013) for the first registration.

Does anyone know if there is a free way to find the date of first registration for a used Spark EV

Re: Questions and Data tracking

Re: battery range and cold weather

How cold is it where you are?
going from 120 to 65 seems a bit excessive for temperature (unless extreme).
Have you changed driving conditions, like more highspeed highway driving, or using a lot of the heater?

Re: Torque pro and battery capacity

Looks like I'll be getting to that zone soon. Checked TorquePro this morning and I'm at 13.9kwh. The Spark has 32k miles and I live in SoCal. :o The big unknown being what is the Nominal usable battery capacity so we can compute the % of degradation. From looking at a lot of different inputs, it co...

Isn't the 'max available regen' the same in L as it is with the Brake Pedal in D?
I believe it is.
