Re: Home Charging Stations, What Do You Guys Have??

I have the one bosch sells its not the voltec but the one that is a few bucks cheaper just has a shorter cord. Came out to around $450 without shipping or tax. I installed it the other weekend and works great.

Re: Bosch home charging station

Correct I only get a one year warranty with it I used to be an electrician so no way i am going to pay someone to do it for me. Plus the installation price would be over $500 if i had someone do it. So even if i went through two chargers it would still be cheaper.

Re: GM Voltec/SPX charge controller install

you mean two 110v legs. Two 110s make 220v. Not one leg at 220v and another at 220v combined they are 110v. Not possible to have a singe hot at 220v. Voltec charger looks nice.

Re: 120V Charger cord length

Not off hand but i would say 20 foot maybe. I know the manual says not to use an extension cord but coming from an electrical background as long as you use a 20 amp 12 gauge cord and try to keep it under 50 feet I see no reason that you shouldnt be able to run off an extension cord. Also saying that...

I have gotten really good a judging distance and when to and how much to let off to keep the distance from the car in front. The L mod...

Re: What's the range like?

My mileage really didnt move for the first couple days. Meaning it would say 85 miles to empty when i left fully charged from home and when i got th...
