Re: L2 portable generator charging

As an aside, picking fruit under hot sun should not be American job, either. I knew some guys who used to work in auto plants. It was mind numbing with some intermission. Pay was artificially high due to UAW. They liked the pay, but hated wasting time and mind. Hopefully automation continues to inc...

Re: Lexani LXTR203 Tires - ~5,000 mile review

Initially, efficiency numbers suffered.... After ~2,000 miles (a month of driving for me), efficiency had gotten better. Occasionally I've seen some trip numbers doing local driving, where wind and elevation aren't really factors, that just boggle the mind 9+mpkwh. On the highway, it still doesn't ...

Re: Battery degredation

Hopefully this one will come in a little higher because if the degradation continues at that rate I won't be able to make my 54 mile round-trip commute in a year or two. ....was hoping the Spark could bridge the gap til then. My wife loves driving the car and has a much shorter commute so we may ke...

Re: Battery degredation

I recently ordered a 2015 Spark EV from Carvana that just came off a 3-year lease with about 17,500 miles on it.... ....it showed exactly 15kWh capacity. I'm sending it back and requested another one. Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, this battery capacity level (~15kwh) is pretty much what is t...

Re: A "funny" thing happened on the way to CarMax

Well here we go. Just received a phone call from service. We can't figure out what's wrong, come pick up your vehicle, owe an hour diagnostic. I'll email GM corporate and see what they say. Driving a nice new Bolt doesn't feel so great all of a sudden... Edit: I'll go talk with the higher than servi...

Re: Aftermarket speakers?

Ohms are important, but not really. Size of the speaker is important but not really. Just get as close to the original as possible right size and don't go overboard on the watts should do the trick. I'm also looking at possibly putting in those baffles in may help with the rear bass response... the...

the bad news is you slightly overpaid. I really really need front tires so im hoping this is the ticket.
I did overpay a bit it appears, but still saved a good chunk over buying ecopias. Once they "break in" a bit, efficiency gets better (in my experience it did).

Re: A "funny" thing happened on the way to CarMax

Headed into work, as soon as I turned on the Spark, Orange vehicle light illuminated and stayed. P0Ac4. "EV" certified dealer happened to be on my route, so I stopped in just to have it recognized, which they did. I'll be setting up an appointment to drop off in the not too distant future. Guess I'l...

A "funny" thing happened on the way to CarMax

I had a free afternoon yesterday, so I decided to take the Spark to Carmax and see if they'd surprise me with a buy offer (they surprised me alright.... not in a good way). As I pulled in, I checked Torque Pro for diagnostics. I had two codes, but no light, so I cleared them.... Immediately after cl...

Lexani LXTR203 Tires - ~5,000 mile review

Thought I'd follow up on these relatively inexpensive gems. They came recommended by the "hole in the wall" tire shop I frequent, and since they've never steered me wrong, I bit. $75 per tire, $150 for the front pair OTD. Initially, efficiency numbers suffered, noise & ride seemed no different, trac...
