Re: Electrify America Charging Station Problems

I've tried the site in Charlotte, NC twice now with the Spark, and both times, without and then with their App, the sessions were unsuccessful. They are ABB units, so it's not surprising. The last time, I nearly ran out of power, due to two other fast chargers in the area that wouldn't work (4th one...

Re: Electrify America Charging Station Problems

Wow! What a read so far, this topic is a bit of a wopper. As Norton pointed out, this is all very likely a software problem. I successfully charged on an ABB station a year and a half ago. https://youtu.be/MKoXq6yP5_E Electrify America is more or less a forced entity of Volkswagen for the diesel adm...

It's ...

Re: Sport mode not working

Never figured it out, mine still work in both Spark and Bolt. I think it's likely a software or hardware bug. If you have a good relationship with your local dealer and you're still within your 5 year/60k powertrain joke, I mean warranty (sorry, I'm still bitter about my local service center experie...

Re: Programming a new Remote Keyless Entry Fob?

I purchased a 2016 Spark LT1 2 weeks ago from a Seattle Chevy dealer and I needed a 2nd key fob made. The parts department ordered it and it came in a week. They cut the key fine but when they tried to program the fob the car wouldn’t go into programming so they had to connect the car to their comp...

Re: Help programming RKE transmitter for 2016

Can I get a super basic answer on a piece of this puzzle? If I acquire a Chevy key that has just those two buttons (or those two plus trunk/hatchback icon...or those two plus the red light icon) - will that work? Ian Probably slightly better than snowballs chance in hell odds. How about countering,...

Re: Torque Pro walkthrough video.

Are the PIDs universal between OBD scanners and the apps? Or are they specific to each? That is, I found an IOS app and OBD reader that are compatible and that allows importing custom PIDs. Did you make adjustments for the Spark EV vs what they had by default in the Bolt forum? It's my understandin...

The manual instructions didn't work for me either BTW.
Good to know. I posted a thread somewhere on this forum that explained why programming is seemingly not possible due to hardware limitations.

Re: Torque Pro walkthrough video.

No interest in buying an android device for this one limited use case. Too bad. If someone designs something that works for the Bolt (or possibly future GM EV), it will likely work with the Spark. In my configuration, the PID for battery capacity works fine for the Spark, but doesn't read right for...

Re: Help programming RKE transmitter for 2016

...so I bought new batteries and replaced each fob’s battery a few weeks ago. One of them kept working for sure, but we don’t use both remotes very often. So I don’t know when the other fob stopped working, but I know neither fob works now, as a remote. I like asking stupid questions, so here we go...
