The one in Charlotte worked as well! Looks like the problem has been resolved.

Re: Electrify America Charging Station Problems

Did a crazy 381 mile trip in my Spark today (probably a video or two to follow). Stopped at 4 EA sites, 2 of which were Efacec units..... They both worked! First try, no supporting the handle/cable was needed. I'm going to try the station in Charlotte tomorrow. I'll report back. Funny (maybe not), t...

Re: Want to buy a Spark EV with 96K miles. Bad idea?

But it comes down to : does the car meet your needs? Does it barely meet you needs today? You might get a new battery out of the deal. $4K for a Spark EV is really cheap (IMO). Especially if you can get a refurbished (or new) battery replacement under warranty.[/i] Emphasis on MIGHT . Although I se...

Re: Want to buy a Spark EV with 96K miles. Bad idea?

Sorry the price is 4k. I'm used to an EV. Returned a i3 at end of lease. Daily commute is 36 miles RT. Worried about battery degradation. $4k is still cheap IMO. I'm guessing it doesn't have DC fast charging? The onboard ac charger is 3.3kw. From reports here and first hand experience, the Spark EV...

If the vehicle has no issues, I think that price is a steal. Is it the right vehicle for you? Only you can determine that.

Re: 2051 Spark EV body paint are kind of thin.

When I got my 2015 used, it had some chipped off spots on the rear bumper. I haven't tried to correct it, I don't think it's gotten any worse, and I don't think I have any additional spots/chips. Maybe a layer of clear coat could or protective film could get it to where you want it. Not worth it to ...

Re: Place Key in Transmitter Pocket

Based on that I am inclined to think the car receiver died. Before I call the dealer, does anyone have any other suggestions? Not trying to be a smart ass, make sure your batteries are not installed upside down. I'm not 100% certain, but I think there's a good possibility that there are two separat...

Re: Battery degredation

last calculated HV battery capacity before i recharge is 16.375 kWh That's pretty good considering the amount of miles on it. It would be interesting to see all the usage data (number of fast charges, daily SOC data, lifetime battery temps), to see correlations between degradation and particular us...

Re: Battery degredation

one thing i just realized, with 92F outside, shouldn't i see some energy go towards battery conditioning? thank you I'm probably opening up a different can of worms, but it depends on a bunch of conditions. The Spark battery "doesn't like" being ~86°F or above. Since batteries are dense, they are s...
