Re: 2014 Spark Charging problems

It could be a number of things: Cool weather. Are you using the heater much? I think that even without the heater, range will be reduced in cold weather. Change in driving style, maybe driving at higher speeds. Change in usual driving routes. I get about 64 miles of range this time of year, but I th...

Re: Buzzing/whirring noises

My 2015 does that as well. Maybe they all do, but I don't know.

Thanks for the offer. I really don't feel too bad about it. It was worth a try, and I was going to do it anyway without encouragement. Now we know.

Re: Would a Volt key fob shell work for a 2015 Spark EV?

I got the Volt key fob shell today, and as the seller stated, it was not compatible with my Spark EV. The key blank for the Volt is narrower, so that the key fob body is thinner, and the rubber keypad is not really designed to be removed from the fob body and reinstalled. I'm not too disappointed --...

Re: Would a Volt key fob shell work for a 2015 Spark EV?

Hi StEVen,

I decided to take a chance and ordered the Volt key fob earlier today. I'll post again when I get a chance to try it out.

Would a Volt key fob shell work for a 2015 Spark EV?

The rubber keypad is worn out on one of my 2015 Spark EV key fobs and I would like to replace it (the keypad or the entire shell). I see that a 5 button fob shell for the Volt is listed on ebay, and it looks identical to the fob for my Spark, complete with the correct EV symbols. I was going to plac...

Re: Should I keep the OnStar subscription?

Even though I supposedly declined the OnStar service, I got an email yesterday stating that my trial period was expiring on October 18th. So just out of curiosity I created an account on my.chevrolet.com and will be playing around with it for a while.

Re: Should I keep the OnStar subscription?

Interesting. The salesman (GM dealer) did not go through these features, which I see could be useful in some situations.

Re: Should I keep the OnStar subscription?

Why would you decline 5 years of the Basic Onstar FREE service? Plus you were probably going to get the more advanced services for 2 years. I declined the service because the salesman offered to walk me through the procedure for declining the service. Easier to do it then and there rather than late...
