Re: Electrify America Charging Station Problems

Yeah, have had that issue when I had the BMW i-3. The support structure for Tesla is why I'm leaning that way in the future, but, waiting to see all the other manufacturers offer and if/when the charging stations get better, are more plentiful and batteries gain more miles and fast charge.

Re: 2016 Chevy Spark for $7,950 or 2016 Nissan Leaf for $9,850

Love my 2015, just turned 20K miles. It has little to no heat in colder temps. Being in AZ is great in the summer as the A/C blows cold. The heater...not so much. The heated seat doesn't warm your feet or hands or anything but lower back and glutes. Yes, VERY quick. Where do you live? It gets cold i...

Re: Problems with fast charging

I've had my 2015 for a year and have only DC'd it once at a Chevy dealer. No problem at all.

Re: Potential Buyer questions

I have a seat cover i use left over from my i3 lease. Seats get hot in AZ even with tint. Quick as hell, spin the tires at will. Handles fine. Zero issues with this 2015 at 18k, got with 14k 11 months ago. Charge it a few times a week, have fast charged it once at a chevy dealer without incident. St...

Re: Ev in extreme heat

Now that it is cooling down it charged last night to 77, level 2. My wife's Volt charged to 60, the last month or so it's been in the low 50's. When I got it last year on Black Friday it was charging up to 94, and cruising about 40mph the upper end of GOM was 117! So, temps and cruising speed return...

Re: Best way to charge for battery life

The charge gets low, I plug in at night and drive away in the morning. A few days later the charge is low, I plug it in at night and drive away in the morning. No stress. It charges, I use the charge...rinse and repeat. Don't over think it. You'll drive yourself nuts. Get in and go, wave as you pass...

Re: Ev in extreme heat

I'm in Phoenix. I did the recall for the battery a few months ago. Before doing so I was charging 2-3 times a week and always getting over 90 miles. Since the "fix" the most it's charged to is 75, last charge 2 days ago was 69 and I plugged in at 18. Now, it's in the 100's and the garage is hot and ...

Re: Fan only... no AC or heater

Slightly off subject...my fan makes a lot of noise, normal or can it be going south at 17k?
