Re: Rear LED tail light assembly

Looking at GM Parts online it appears the model numbers for the tail lights are the same as the ICE for those years so it would probably fit. It looks like it would really change the identity of the car since the lights are flat and don't have any shape that sticks out like the OEM ones do.

The knob on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Twist it until you see units and push the button to make your selection. Page 115 of the owners manual.

Re: Vampire losses from Auto Climate Ctrl

I've experienced for the first time recently with the warm weather 90F+. My GOM trend was down considerably and I noticed I kept feeling very cold air and found it was barely coming out of the vents. I ended up just turning on the fan to blow some of the cold air since I wasn't saving energy by not ...

Re: Commuting 160 miles in a Spark EV

With that in mind, know that driving with the cruise at 55 is probably not the most efficient, nor fastest, way to get there. You'd do better in both time and energy usage to follow (at a reasonable distance - no need to tailgate) a big rig going 60-65. What I'd do is get on the highway, set the cr...

Re: Commuting 160 miles in a Spark EV

I'd agree that sounds like a personal preference. I'd enjoy the extra 30 minutes to myself in the morning to get ahead on e-mails. I personally think (and this is my opinion) that your real question should be if commuting that far is really reasonable. A lot of people don't consider the wear and tea...

Re: Considering a cheap Spark

If savings is a factor you may want to consider your insurance rates. My rates are about $20 higher a month for my Spark EV than our Volt with the same coverage.

Re: Considering a cheap Spark

You may look at the trade in value Carvana would give to you if you didn't like it. I've heard of someone getting $7500 for their 2015 with 30k miles on it. If you don't like it you could sell it to them and not be out too much money. I have an 18 mile round trip commute with a side trip to take our...

Re: Charging Question / New Spark EV Owner

I ended up getting the departure time setup on my charging so I can just plug in when I get home and have about 75% charge when I leave. I recently had to go on a longer trip than normal and saw in the owners manual if you plug the car in and unplug it and plug it back in it overrides everything and...
