Re: Sudden loss of capacity

My capacity dropped quite a bit this year and I haven't been driving much. I've only seen the capacity rise once and that was during the hot summer. I don't think you'll get the capacity back. The question is, Will the GOM range that you can get out of it still work for you?

Re: Battery Degradation vs Battery Limited Warranty

From my torque pro readings the individual cells are charging to about 98% their max voltage. I doubt their is any hidden capacity available on our cars.

Re: Losing range after DC fast charging.

It may be because the cooling system is working to get the battery pack temperature and charging components back down to an optimal level.

Re: Insurance

We have state farm as well with full coverage. Our 2017 Volt insurance is lower than our 2016 Spark EVs insurance. It must have something to do with crash ratings. We were coming from 20 year old cars with just liability though so it is a bit of sticker shock.

Re: 2016 vs 2014

I think we need to get NORTON an OBD2 reader and Torque Pro so we can compare apples to apples.

Re: How to Measure Battery Health?

RSC is correct. Bolt PIDS loaded into Torque Pro for Android phones or Bolt PIDS loaded into Enginelink for iOS and a compatible OBD2 reader. They read the same capacity but Torque pro allows you to read out to the 13th decimal point if you have it setup that way.

This one is used and has a few extra parts but is a bit cheaper: https://www.iaai.com/vehicledetails/365 ... owNumber=0

Re: Won’t 220v charge but will 110v charge

Are there any error messages when charging with 110?
