Re: 2014 Spark EV down to 15.3kWh, time to take it to the dealer?

I recently ticked up from 14.03kwh (first occurred 1/16/19) to 14.06kwh (first occurred 1/10/19), according to Torque Pro. I've had no further loss since, which is highly unusual, as I monitor it each day I drive, and historically, I have a downward figure at least once a week. Also, I've fast char...

Re: 2014 Spark EV down to 15.3kWh, time to take it to the dealer?

Thanks for all the info. May I inquire where the "official" battery degradation warranty info is? 35% degradation in ~ 5 years seems pretty excessive, and had I understood that from the get-go I might have been less inclined to purchase the car outright... There should be a "warranty information" p...

Re: Place Key in Transmitter Pocket

I have received the "No remote detected" notice but it is because the FOB I was using was for my other Spark EV . However, I have had one notice appear on the screen telling me the FOB battery was low and needed to be replaced. I replaced the battery and everything was normal with no further notice...

Re: Place Key in Transmitter Pocket

We had a fairly nice day Sunday so it seemed a great time to wash the recent winter crud off the used-to-be white 2015 Spark EV. I grabbed the seldom used spare fob for the car and was greeted with a "No remote detected, Place key in transmitter pocket" message on the DIC. I popped out the fob blad...

Re: Torque Pro for iOS?

OK, so if I DID buy a cheap Android device, what will work? Looks like it works on Android OS 2.0 or higher according to Torque Pro's details. Will an Amazon Fire tablet do it? How about a cheap phone without a carrier? Amazon has their own version of Android and I do not believe it will work with ...

Re: Looking to buy and some advice...

Note: the full-charge GOM mileage value is very dependent on how the car has been driven and driving conditions. I see GOM values of 95 to 100 miles in late spring through early fall. In winter, I use the heater and my full-charge GOM valued drop to around 70 miles. Yeah, I was rather suspicious wh...

Re: Looking to buy and some advice...

thank you for your replies! there's a 2014 2LT with fast charging option and about 50K miles in great condition. seller says charging cuts-off/stops when it reaches 85 mile range. i can get it for $6800, or pay a few thousand more for a 2015/16 with about half the mileage, all other things being eq...

Re: Torque Pro for iOS?

Hey all! I'm so excited to get my 2016 Spark EV, should be here this weekend! My question concerns using Torque Pro to check battery life. From what everyone has written, it sounds like it's for Android only. Since I'm an iPhone user, can you tell me what's the best thing for iOS users? Thanks! I t...
