Re: Has anyone tried DIREZZA ZII STAR SPEC tires?

I wouldn't suggest these tires on the Spark. I use them on my other car and took a 15% hit to mileage plus they are quite loud. On such a quiet car that would be really annoying. I've come to the realization that there is no winning move when it comes to tires on this car.

Re: Battery degredation

I'm at approx 7500 miles and my indicated range is 58 miles give or take. I have much sticker tires, though, and they are slightly larger than stock. I also don't drive slowly and charge to full each day. I think the range indicator is becoming more conservative, though. Meaning that by the time I r...

Re: Rear turn signal lenses?

This is one of the safety weak points in this vehicle, and many GM vehicles. They could REALLY use amber turn signals lenses or clear with amber bulbs. I have a spot that I have to stop and turn into a driveway in the middle of a fast curve and I have to be really careful about the cars behind me. I...

Re: Suspension Upgrades

A chilling set of photos have been posted elsewhere showing both rear trailing arms snapped off in a spinout accident with no impact apparent in the rear. Brittle cast iron arms. Do not over stress. http://imgur.com/a/N6Z7M#aLnVk9X Are you f-ing KIDDING ME?! I'm keeping this car off the freeway. W ...

Re: HID Option?

I picked up a set of the Xenon Depot LEDs for the high beams in my other vehicle and the results are below. I want to make it clear that the results in this other vehicle (which also has an aftermarket HID kit) should not be considered representative of the results of the LED in the Spark and I don'...

Automatic Parking Brake Release...

I just discovered this functionality this evening. Very handy. Guess I should have read the manual more closely. From the manual: Automatic EPB Release The EPB will automatically release if the vehicle is running, placed into gear, and an attempt is made to drive away. Avoid rapid acceleration when ...
