Re: What is being offered at end of lease?

Lease here in CA for a Volt is 275 a month with nothing down. It is on the Chevy web site.

It is nuts how GM does not negotiate at the end of the lease for Sparks. Total bad business decision from where I am looking, but maybe they know something I don't or they have other plans.

Went from spark to a Volt....

It is a different kind of life with a Volt..... had just a Spark and nothing else to get around for about 4 years prior to new Volt. Have had my Volt for about 30 days now. There are lots of differences but it is a great car still. I still have a 2016 Spark, but it is wife's car.

New tire balancing

I just got 2 new tires on the front of my spark, bridgestone ep422, and they used 2.5oz of wheel weights on each wheel. The strip of stick-on wheel weights is like 4-5 inches long. This seems excessive to me. These are not cheap tires. Americas tire did the balancing and they use the road force bala...

Re: Battery degredation

I only accumulate battery conditioning on the energy details screen when I'm using AC and not moving (I spend a good bit of time in my Spark before work.... assuming I arrive early, which I generally do. We've had many 90°F+ days, but not over 100 in the Carolinas. My trans temp according to Torque...

Re: Battery degredation

If you want to leave it plugged in on very hot or very cold weather for battery conditioning, but don't want to fill the battery up to 100%, then use the 120V EVSE set to 8A. On hot days, after the air has cooled down to under 80, plug in the 240V EVSE for a few hours before going to bed (if you ne...

Re: Battery degredation

I had a 2014 for 3.2 years and never saw the battery conditioning used. I do see it, but rarely, on my 2015 and 2016.

Re: Battery degredation

I have a 2015 spark with 31K on the odo. Just today I used 98% of the battery and it said it was 14.2kwh per the energy screen of the car...... So this means the car has 14.5kwh usable?! Terrible. The usage totals were driving 51%, climate setting 42%, and batt conditioning 5%. It was a hot day out ...

or to keep battery warm in winter, lay an electric blanket on the floor under the battery, the heat rises and keep battery warm while parked in garage.

Looking to buy a 2014 Spark in blue with quick-charge.

I would like to buy a nice, as-new-as-possible, blue 2014 Spark with the DC quick-charge option. Needs to be the LT1 with the blue cloth interior as well. I know it is very specific, but just putting my fishing line out there. So if you have one to sell, or maybe know somebody, or even see an ad out...
