Re: Check Engine Light - Code P0713

One question I do have relates to what, if anything, these bogus temperature readings have on the car's performance. That temperature is monitored for a reason. It may be that it is only a warning system for when the cooling system or oil supply is leaking out and getting hot. A way of saying "stop...

Re: Check Engine Light - Code P0713

Clearly the temp sensor or the wiring has something wrong.
I doubt it is a serious problem.
But if you have a warranty,, why not! :)

Re: Auto lights control slow to respond ?

Welcome to that goofy system ! Although it is nice to never think about turning the headlights off and on. I can't understand how it can be a sunny morning and I'll come to a stop with the sun behind me and I happen to notice it switch to night mode. There's nothing you can do about it except ignore...

Re: Over-active battery conditioning?

If you are charging on L1 you could get a 'Kill a Watt' to measure wattage being used during the session.

How does the 'Battery Conditioning' % look on the Leaf page when you are driving it? Is it over active then?

Good luck telling a dealership there is a problem.....

Re: Anyone know where a good place to find aftermarket accessories (decals stripes etc) for the 2016 models

It is the same car! The only difference is motor and EV battery pack The front and rear bumper covers are different too. For instance, the Fog Lights on the gasser will not work on the EV front bumper cover. And the different offsets in the front and back wheels, but that has been covered a bunch.

Re: Cold climate

Regardless what SOC you leave it at (although 40-50% is best for long term storage), the pack should me warmed or cooled, as required, to the proper temp range before operating it.

Re: 2016 spark ev wifi for full time home internet connection?

Welcome and congrats !

I don't think the Spark EV can be used as a wifi hotspot.
Does the Bolt make that claim?

Re: Vampire losses from Auto Climate Ctrl

..... recently with the warm weather 90F+. .... I noticed I kept feeling very cold air and found it was barely coming out of the vents. I ended up just turning on the fan to blow some of the cold air since I wasn't saving energy by not running the cabin air conditioning. Right, that was TMS cooling...

Re: New owner

I generally only draft so I can make the trip in an EV,...... and it's not about the pennies, it's about the pollution). What is better for range (and safety)? Drafting a semi ( in the sand and rock zone, hoping a Road Alligator doesn't attack), or just driving slower ? Drafting at a distance only ...
