Re: Commuting 160 miles in a Spark EV

Use google map.
Map the direction, then select the bike route, that will show you the elevation at start and end :)

Re: Commuting 160 miles in a Spark EV

I guess my question is - is this insane? Well that is a very personal question that only depends on the person having to live with it :) I personally cant help but plan for the worse, so I would not do it as it would be too much stress. But if she is fine with it, then that is all that matters.

Re: Battery degredation

Thanks, I find that if I note numbers when they change together, I can get minimal fluctuation. But the loss of capacity on our 2014 is a straight downward line that shows no sign of slowing down. I know for a fact that you can't put 240V into a 2014 model stock EVSE.

Don't ask........

Re: Just Bought 2015 Spark EV- Did I get screwed?

As you will find searching that forum, the range is an estimated guess based on the last few driving/charge cycles. So it will take a few days for it to reflect your driving conditions. There are various ways to get an estimate of the current battery usable capacity. If you don't have a fancy ODB el...

Re: Questions and Data tracking

And if you use the energy dashboard % and kwh used, don't take these numbers if you have had partial recharge during that period.
I noticed that when you do, results can be off

I am down to 14kWh, so I will be interested to hear what they tell you :)

Are they charging you anything for the evaluation of your battery capacity?

Thanks
