Re: Replacement Battery Cost

But... I also hope replacement / rebuilt batteries will be available in the near future to revitalize Sparkie's full range. But.... Who will need them in the 'near future'? My '14 with 71k miles just showed 83 miles on the GOM when I went to pick it up at noon at the 'free gas station' a 1/4 mile a...

Re: Replacement Battery Cost

Re: Wheel/tire upgrade

Wow, I have the exact same wheels! I bought them used with tires and have run them for quite a while now. Bought them from a fellow Spark EV owner that was leaving town. They had the wrong TPMS sensors and needed the hub centric rings listed below. Can't remember the tire brand but they are 195's fr...

Re: 6.6kW charging

I'm going to install a 10kW Tesla model S onboard charger instead What about getting the TMS system to play along? You don't want to charge at 10kW in the summer without cooling, correct? You can leave the factory charger in place to control the cooling system. But wouldn't the Onboard Charge have ...

Re: Best way to charge for battery life

I have charged my '14 to 100% 5 days a week since I got it in May, '15, with 3500 miles on it. It finishes around noon and then I move it .25 mi. and it sits until about 5 and I don't plug in overnight, except in the dead of winter. It's a ~ 50 mile round trip. It now has +70 k miles and my last dat...

.... The dealer seems stumped over it and its been in the shop for about 3 weeks now.
Say What???
Doesn't the dealer have the phone number for Tech Support back at the Mother Ship?
Is it a sign of giving up to call in for tech support?

Re: Charging while driving

Not sure what your question is.... You want to add power to the battery pack while using power from the battery pack while driving? Where would this power come from? Early on some dude here was posting pictures of a small gas generator in the hatch area of the Spark EV. Even if you don't mind the sm...

You can do this in 10 minutes of swapping bulbs without moving the car. I can't see how those lar...
