Re: question about starting the spark with key??

The key has to be in close proximity inside the car to allow the car to power up when pushing the Power On button - As for tinting windows, they won't benefit the battery pack.

Re: Back up camera?

Not a backup camera, but a Bluetooth Backup Sensor device -

Not really legal in North Carolina, as it obscures the license plate at the bottom where 'NORTH CAROLINA' is stamped into plate.

Re: 0 to 60 times?

I've got an 'unofficial' cellphone timed 0-60 in 7.4 on my Wife's 2015 Spark EV (sshhhhhh!!) - It's hard to not drive the wee beastie in 'Hilarious Mode' departing from every stoplight.

Re: Cold Weather Range

Re: Any Spark EV Owners in North Carolina?

I live in CT and would like to do something very similar to you. Could you give me a rough idea of what the vehicle and shipping cost you for your nearly new Spark EV, as it could be a great guide for me (I'm a bad price haggler). I tried to get a dealer in MD to sell me a new one over the net but ...

Re: Transmission question

OK.. The Spark EV has a one speed transmission. As I understand, the low (L) range is not really a lower gear set, but rather, a different calculation that increases the regenerative braking. So, my question: Is the reverse (R) a different gear, or alternatively, does selecting "R" simply reverse t...
