Yeah, the Spark EV's interior has been compared to a sea of hard plastic.
I don't mind the Spartan look at all, it harkens back to the '62 VW bug and '68 Squareback, that my mother drove, with body-color paint accents. I don't even notice the blue anymore in the cabin on my white car.
After 41 years of driving, though, I'm not about the break my bad habit of resting my arm on of all things, the armrest, while I drive and primarily steering Italian style, from the bottom of the wheel.
A quarter inch of neoprene with adhesive backing found on eBay helps out with my self-inflicted tendonitis.
Not exactly pretty but it works.
