I want to see if I can get away with charging 240V at work and 120V at home. I could not find the spec on the cord length of the provided 120V charger. Does anyone know how long the cord is for the 120V charger?

Not off hand but i would say 20 foot maybe. I know the manual says not to use an extension cord but coming from an electrical background as long as you use a 20 amp 12 gauge cord and try to keep it under 50 feet I see no reason that you shouldnt be able to run off an extension cord. Also saying that the distance from your plug to you electrical panel isnt 200 feet. At 8 amp on at least a 15 amp circuit that leaves you plenty of voltage drop of a good amount of distance.

I pulled the 120v charger out of my Spark EV and measured it. The full length is 22 feet:

Unless your utility has browned out the voltage to your breaker panel. 100ft even 200ft of real #12 extension cord will be fine. If the supply receptacle is at or close to the utility panel.
It's not like you are trying to start a 1HP air compressor .
Now if you have been shopping in the bargain bin at Walmart and have brought home eight 25ft lengths of 18gauge extension cord to reach 200ft. Disappointment
will be your friend.

Hate to bump an old topic...

markcmann, WHAT are those round black things ? Hockey Pucks ?

Haha, I just realized those were in the picture. Yes they are, my son plays travel ice hockey and he shoots them all over the place outside (you can see the white skill pad at the top of the picture). It's amazing the places I find them... ;)

HAHA. ok that is even funnier as they are in the flower bed too !

Not used to seeing hockey pucks and flowers around here at the same time.
There are still snow drifts to be found here on north facing slopes. It was an extra long, extra cold winter with plenty of snow. Spring warmth is a month late too.
