This one has me baffled.

I have two of these charging stations, one at home and one at my business.

The charger at home: The plug no longer goes into the car far enough to engage the clip. It also doesn't engage the clip on the storage station on the charger.

The one at work is fine and the 110 volt cord in the car plugs in fine, so its not the car.

Called Bosch, no help at all and out of warranty.

Worst thing is, there is no apparent damage or missing parts it all looks intact. I'm no rocket scientist, but I have extensive mechanical knowledge over my 57 years and I can't figure this one out. Nothing on the internet anywhere, mentioning this problem.

Its like the black clip on top that engages the notch is now shorter.

I have had numerous people look at this and no luck.

Anyone every have this issue or anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

If the O ring is in place and everything easy to see looks normal compared to a good J1772 connector,,

Try cutting off the tip of a Q-tip to use it as a measuring stick.
Stick it into each socket and mark how deep it goes with a fine tip sharpie.
You may need a tooth pick on the small sockets.

Maybe there is a buggar clogging up one of the sockets....

You can buy replacement J1772 connector if all else fails. Cut off the bad one and replace it.

good luck
