My 2014 chevy spark ev came with 2 level 1 chargers. anyone interested in buying one, if not, whats the market value of this if i sell it on CL or ebay

Just check sold listings on Ebay :)
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=spark+level+1+evse&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xchevy+level+1+evse.TRS0&_nkw=chevy+level+1+evse&_sacat=0

And so around $250

If you have any soldering skills & tools, it's pretty easy to convert the EVSE that came with the Spark EV into a 240V unit. That would let you charge at double the rate if you have access to a 240V outlet. I converted mine and it's been working fine.

Here's a video on doing it (not mine):

Doing this requires the use of a semi-dangerous adapter cord in you house. You could label it with 'Skull and Crossbones' lock it in a safety box, etc.

And you end up with a 2.8kW L2.

There is an optional part at the end of the video where he shows how to make an adapter to let the EVSE also run from a standard 120V outlet. I did make that adapter and can't see any way that it's dangerous. It's NOT a "suicide plug" with male prongs on both sides. Please clarify what you mean about it being dangerous.

You're correct that the EVSE will still pull 12 Amps, so you'll end up with 12A X 240V = 2880 Watts (2.88KW). That's close enough to 3.3KW for me and I avoided the expense of a separate 240V EVSE.
