I just bought a totaled 2016 Spark EV. I need a shop manual, some body parts like fenders and a few other parts like lower control arm. There are no 2016's in any wrecking yards, but there is a 2014. It looks to me like the 2014 and 2016 are basically the same. Are the headlights and fenders interchangeable? Alldatadiy.com has a 2014 manual. Would the 2014 manual pretty much cover a 2016? Has anyone dealt with alldatadiy.com? Thanks for any information.

You can go to one of the GM dealership online parts stores like https://www.gmoutletparts.com/ and see what part numbers match.

http://www.Car-part.com has EV parts indexed in the interchange, if I ask for a fender for a 2016 EV it gives me a couple of 2014 EVs.

One would think that common body parts like right side fenders would interchange with first generation gas cars (through 2015), but car-part.com doesn't think so. Doors and headlights yes, fenders no.

I'm running into the same problem with data subscriptions for second generation Cruze, Mitchell will sell me 2016 data but not 2017, alldata will sell me 2015 (first generation) data but not 2016 or 2017. I guess if all the non-totaled cars are still under bumper to bumper warranty they don't bother to offer diy data subscriptions.
