Hey all!

I'm so excited to get my 2016 Spark EV, should be here this weekend!

My question concerns using Torque Pro to check battery life. From what everyone has written, it sounds like it's for Android only. Since I'm an iPhone user, can you tell me what's the best thing for iOS users? Thanks!

I think to only availble OBD2 APP for IOS is Engine Link and it does not get very good reviews.

Sorry to be a stickler, Buy a cheap used Android device or make friends with someone who has an Android device, who's willing to set it up (maybe offer to buy them the app and an additional obd2 bt dongle?) If you want to disclose your location, someone on the forum with it already set up and local, might be able to help you out.

OK, so if I DID buy a cheap Android device, what will work? Looks like it works on Android OS 2.0 or higher according to Torque Pro's details. Will an Amazon Fire tablet do it? How about a cheap phone without a carrier?

I use a Galaxy S4 (yeah, I know it's old) with a service provider daily and I have a Blu Studio Energy 2 that is an unlocked phone, no longer connected to a service provider, which I've used also.

Anything Android 2.0+ w/ Bluetooth sounds about right.

Amazon has their own version of Android and I do not believe it will work with TorquePro. I am using an old ASUS Nexus 7 tablet I have and it is slow but it works. It is running on Android 5.1.1.

Is there any hope Torque Pro will become available on iOS any time soon btw?

Yeah, right after you buy a cheap Android device! Think of it as a dedicated Systems Data Display!
