I'm wondering what people think is better to prevent battery degradation. If the car is not used very often (a couple time a week), in very cold weather (-10 Celcius or lower), is it better to have the car at about 80% not plugged in, or to leave it plugged in all the time at 100% so the battery maintenance kicks in.

Regardless what SOC you leave it at (although 40-50% is best for long term storage), the pack should me warmed or cooled, as required, to the proper temp range before operating it.
