I just bought a 2016 Spark ev to replace my leased 2106 Spark ev. I noticed the battery conditioning this morning when the garage was less than 70 degrees. Maybe it had been running all night? My leased one occasionally came on, but the motor compartment on my new car was warm, which I don't ever remember my leased car being. Any suggestions?

If you are charging on L1 you could get a 'Kill a Watt' to measure wattage being used during the session.

How does the 'Battery Conditioning' % look on the Leaf page when you are driving it? Is it over active then?

Good luck telling a dealership there is a problem.....
