while driving in hot SoCal weather these days, even on the West side of LA which is cooler, my A/C is on even thought i do not turn it on. i feel cold air seeping out of the vents even though the A/C and fan are off. the car does show 1% used for battery conditioning but 0% for climate control. is this normal? i'm assuming this may have something to do with the main battery cooling. anyone else notice this? thanks

Yes this is for battery conditioning (cooling) I believe it happens above 28 or 29 Celsius. If it's already conditioning I just turn the fan on and be sure to turn off the A/C and the fan will blow some of that cold air your way. If your battery is low enough that it asks to shut off the radio I found that the battery conditioning a/c will not run.
