Lately, I have been wishing for more mileage or bigger charger. I rarely put a hundred miles on very often but those are my two biggest complaints.
Saturday, I tried out a 2017 Bolt. Premium that was pretty much decked out. I was excited. The Bolt was nice. My problem was the Bolt had three times the battery but only twice the charger compared to the Spark. My next concern was the miles/kwh. Most Bolt owners are happy to get about 4 miles/kwh. I would be depressed to get that low in the Spark.
Does it hurt to DCFC often? Found out the Chevrolet dealer has one to use for free.
Guess I am sticking with the Spark.

I'm going to have one of each !

No evidence of DCFC harming the pack.
Plus the dealerships usually only have a 24kW DCFC station.
How can it be free? The one I saw was inside the service area.

Now in a Leaf, that is a different story....

The dealer by me has theirs outside. I heard that Chevy told their dealers that they had to install them for EV's.

Not holding my breath for the Chevy dealers around here to put them up.
