Not sure if we CA resident can take advantage. I would try for this deal if I don't already have the Spark EV. According to ads, it is only for Oregon resident. I suspect because they don't pay sale taxes over there and the registration and other fees are cheaper over there they can offer $0 due at signing. However, I think if someone work with them they might be willing to sell to us Californian for a similar deal, though you would have to ship it. So before agreeing to the deal, I would work the shipping cost into the whole equation to see if it's a deal compared to getting it in CA.

Did you see the small print? The ad says $0 due at signing, but $4,830 for the "first payment"...

No, it says total lease cost is $4,830.

Oops, you're right. Sorry.

"36 Month lease $138 a month with $0 due at lease signing. 10,000 miles a year lease. MSRP $28,785 Residual $16,423 $.25 per mile excess mileage charge. Total Lease cost $4,830 First Payment , Oregon DMV of $273, Electronic Filing fee of $25, License and Title Processing fee of $75, Acq fee of $595 and CCR rebate of $6,100 included in net cap cost of $19,995. On Approved Credit and subject to lessor requirements. 700 Minimum credit score required. $0 Purchase Option Fee. $0 Disposition Fee. #50219 #50150 #50151 #50156 #50253 #50149. Lease only available to residents of Oregon."

That's a great deal. Only 6 cars at that price, though. My deal was $2950 down and $85/mo including taxes. I'm guessing there is no sales tax in Oregon. In CA, we get $2,500 back from the state. Not sure if OR does that. So, in essence, my payment is about $98/mo when you add the $450/35. That same deal, at the same dealership, is now $95 plus tax, so around $115, and only 3 at that price. http://www.chevynorthridge.com/Rydell-Chevy-Lease-Specials . So, comparatively speaking, this deal, (in SoCal), is about $128 compared to the Oregon deal of $138.

Shipping charges from Oregon may kill the price difference. Shipping would be at least $0.75 per mile and probably more like a dollar. If you really had Lithium running through your veins you would drive it down yourself and then painstakingly explain to GM this is why 10+ kW L2 charging is important.

The deals just keep getting better and better...awesome value, push your friends who have been sitting on the fence!
