I'm seeing that there is a separate water circuit for the cabin heater (separate from the battery heating/cooling). What is the source of heat for the cabin heat? Is it resistance heat, battery heat, or a heat pump? I found mention of the "high voltage cabin heater" being shared with the Spark prototype and the Volt.

Come to mention it, what is the source of heat for the battery?

All heat on the Spark EV comes from resistance heaters. One for the cabin, one for the battery, one for the rear glass, one for each of the driver and passenger seats.

And the cabin and battery heaters are within separate coolant loops.
That's why there is a short delay before you feel the cabin heat.
I think I read that these are the same heating units that are used in the Volt.
