Re: cleaning under the hood

If you have access to an air hose to blow off the topical dust, a strong leaf blower works. Dampen a cloth and wipe what you can, rinsing then wringing out excess water. For oily bits I'd wet a cloth with Simple Green, wipe, rinse repeat then dry off with a dry cloth. No rinsing off with a hose, eve...

I have a 2015 and also in Mesa. How many miles are on yours?

I think I'd take $10K...that's what I paid 30 months ago.

Re: 14 months of ownership starting to regret Owning a sparkev

I've had mine 25 months and still charges to 84 or higher, depending on temperature, and am at 24K miles. Replaced the 12 volt battery and wiper blades but that's been it. Amazingly quick and handles pretty well for the suspension it's on. Still fun, a keeper.

Re: Spark or Bolt ?

Enjoy my 2015 Spark but would lean more toward the Bolt. Not sure how the heater is though...must be better than in the no heat Spark.

Bigger battery, less charging time, seating position...all pluses for me.

Re: A Tesla and a Spark

Have a 2015 Spark, just turned 24k miles and still charges, in cooler temps, to 90-94! My wife drives a 2017 Volt Premiere with 51k on the clock. Charges to 55 and over 60 SOC...a few times over 70! Gets 44 or more on the freeway, is quiet and handles great. Waiting for a Tesla Y with the new batter...

Re: Drivers Information Display Failure or IPC INOP

How old is the battery...maybe that's what's causing it.

Check with XM first. They inadvertently turn off the signal.

Re: 2051 Spark EV body paint are kind of thin.

My 2015, 20000 miles, paint is great. I'm not on the freeway, dont think 1st owner was either. Have zero issues with paint.

Re: Considering buying used 2015 Spark EV with 22K miles

I've had my 2015 since 11-18 and am up to 22K miles and it still charges past 84. In the winter, in AZ, in a garage it fell to the mid 70's. You should be getting better than 60. The Chevy dealers here will check voltage and all things electric for free, takes about 1.5 hours, may want to check with...
