On a previous car I owned I had Kumho's and they were noticeably louder than any other tire I had. The Michelin's are what we have on our volt and are quiet. Which Michelins do you have? When I buy dog food and put the bag in the front seat it alerts me the passenger is not buckled in (it shows up in the upper part of the middle of the dash.) Could it be something like that?

It may be cheaper to just change the outlet to the correct plug that you need.

I saw a RAV4 EV that had a trailer with another battery pack on it. I don't recall if it could disconnect for shorter trips or not. It appears he is putting a camping trailer on top of it. Not sure of the Spark towing capacity but an interesting idea.

It depends on the wheel spacer size. 3mm up to 6mm probably shouldn't be an issue as there are plenty of threads on the studs.

When you have spacers so wide that they bolt to the hub and the wheels bolt to the spacer. I wouldn't use those.
