No Android support?

Well, I guess it pays to read the manual. Am I really reading this correctly? The USB port in the car only supports iPhones (and flash drives)? Android phones aren't supported at all for wired USB connection? That's crazy. Somebody please confirm. I have a 2015 Spark EV LT2, just purchased in March....

Re: PSA: EV batteries are A LOT bigger than smartphone batte

One argument for using cig lighter charger is that USB connector is much more fragile. If that's broken, it could be expensive fix whereas the chance of cig lighter getting broken is much less. Also, USB port mating cycle is far less (maybe few thousand) where as cig lighter is practically infinite...

Re: Tire recommendation

On a previous car I owned I had Kumho's and they were noticeably louder than any other tire I had. The Michelin's are what we have on our volt and are quiet. Which Michelins do you have? Has your economy been affected? Now that I look again, the Premier A/S's only come in 195's not 185's. I use Mic...

Re: Spark-eee smoked a Porsche today

I just got a 2015 Spark and I've been hoping and waiting for the chance to pull up to a traffic light next to any sports car and leave him in the dust. I Just imagine it. I look over, try to get their attention. Drop it into neutral and race the engine... wait a minute.

Re: 12,094 vs 20,709 battery replacement??

I just read that for a Chevy Bolt EV, they can troubleshoot and repair batteries with replacement done on an individual module basis. From Chevy: "Whole battery-pack replacement is also largely mitigated by the design, manufacturing technique, dealer diagnostic, and repair tools included to support ...

Just an update, front tires lasted for 17k miles. Still worth it.
I just got a 2015 with 37K mi. It's ready for its third set of front tires already at only 37K. The 2nd set are Goodyear Integrity. So, even with LRR tires but no real tire rotation, the life isn't much better.

Re: Most efficient tire alternative to stock tires

New 2015 Spark EV LT2 owner about to get tires. @StEVen, @rgk, and anyone else with knowledge or experience, how have the General Altamax RT43's been working out? In detail, how have they compared with the stock tires? range/mi/kWh? performance/acceleration/handling? wear/longevity? noise? I'm also ...

Re: Tire recommendation

I just got my 2015 Spark EV LT2 but I need tires. So let me ask, now that it's been a while, do you still recommend the Kumho Solus TA31's? Compared with the stock tires, have they been better worse or the same regarding: range/mi/kWh? performance/acceleration/handling? wear/longevity? noise? I'm al...
