I just ordered vanity plates for my Spark EV. Everything I really wanted was taken, but I didn't manage to get, "NO FUMAR". This IS California, after all...

Thanks Chaco !

I bought my car a < $9 holiday gift ! Ho Ho Ho !!

I can see what is in my local electricity recipe: http://oaspub.epa.gov/powpro/ept_pack.charts
I'm currently using 70.7% coal in my area. (below is a dated image)

But now my question is: Is the local power company using American Coal?

I'm only about 5% coal. Very interesting.
That's great!
I'm still a coal burner... I am looking into signing up with Arcadia Power and do the whole REC thing, but I don't know. Still doing research. What do these services do?

And thanks for bumping this thread.

I bought the license plate frame a year ago and now I bought the small green version of the window sticker.
I plan on mounting it low on the bumper to keep a low profile.
There are haters out there,,, and they won....

Looks like in my area of CT (06518) our electricity is relatively clean :). Glad to know my Spark isn't running largely on coal.

However, even if all the electricity did come from coal a Spark EV would still be cleaner than most other vehicles (mouse over the points in the graph link below).

How did a rear window decal post turn into a grid energy discussion?

'Battery powered' rear window decal => 'Powered by American Made Energy' license plate frame => American Coal :D
