Anyone got a callback from Bosch after setting up an account?

I called Bosch for the $500 rebate on Level 2 EVSE a couple of weeks ago. A nice agent set up an account for me, told me that a EVSE specialist will contact me. Never heard back from anyone since.

Anyone have better luck? The agent told me the rebate was still valid then. Just wondering.

They told me they would call back yesterday after setting up everything. Nada.

I'm calling them tomorrow...

I had the same experience, you have to call them back, otherwise they will take forever to get back to you.

I did get an email today with an extension number to call. Guess I'll call tomorrow.

OK, update time.

Was not able to get anyone at the extension provided (might have been their lunch time) so I replied to the new email address stating that I wanted to take advantage of the $500 discount for Spark EV drivers and detailed the model I wanted.

Reply came back saying that all they needed was a copy of the registration, so I scanned that and just sent it off.

Maybe tomorrow I'll hear from the Sales person.

So far, one person takes your call and asks for the Lease Contract, then hands off to next person that asks for the registration, saying that's all they need to hand off to the Sales Team...

Well, it is finally shipped. Tracking number and all that.

I never did get a callback, but the email string finally came through with another extension to call. Part of the problem apparently was a flu that wiped out the office staff.

In the end I had to pay "about $40 for the tax", which was as close as they could get...

For 2014 Spark EV owners, you should take advantage of the Bosch $500 discount before it ends this year.

After I got an account setup, I never managed to get hold of anyone to discuss this offer. I tried multiple times and finally got through to someone who told me who to contact at Bosch. You need to supply Vehicle Registration & Lease Agreement (unless you own). I scanned all those and sent it out Friday night. Much to my surprise, I received a call back (I supplied my phone #) on today (Sat.)

The lady told me I met all the requirements and placed the order for me. I selected the 30A unit for future, which cost more than $500 (the 16A needed for Spark EV is under $500), so I had to pay the difference (+ tax & shipping). You can inform her that you do not need installation. I was told I would get it within 7-10 days. Nice Christmas gift from Bosch & Chevy.

The contact person you need at Bosch is:

Latrice S. Butler
Bosch Automotive Aftermarket
Automotive Service Solutions
Inside Sales Support (AA-AS)

I don't find where the rebate ends 2014; can you point our where you read this? (I'm planning a January 2015 purchase.)

Their site says 2014 year model but I'm sure that's wrong. They generally have their promotion date set to expire every 6 months but always renew it with the same offer. It's probably for promotional reasons.

The Chevrolet.com page for the 2015 Spark EV still says that the $500 discount applies, so I would expect that it's going to be available for the whole model year. The pluginnow.com/discount page only mentions the 2014 Spark EV, so I don't think they've updated their web page to reflect the fact that owners of 2015 model year Sparks can get the discount.

I had a similar experience to others. I called 877-805-3873, talked to Charlotte, who took down my info and told me to E-mail a copy of my temporary registration to Latrice, which I did immediately. Then I waited 9 days without hearing any response. I finally called Latrice, who I was told handles the orders from Spark EV owners. She asked me what model I wanted and told me she would call me back in 15 minutes. She did indeed call me, at which point I gave her my credit card info, confirmed the shipping address, and that was it. I received my shiny new Power Max 30A charger 6 days later.

Leased my Spark EV December 28th. Got a call from Bosch on Thursday without having to contact them, although it took a month. Charger shipped Friday. Went with the 30A for future. I can still take advantage of the LADWP rebate program as well, although I wont as there really is no need other than being greedy.

The perks of owning/leasing this car are so sensational it is such a pity more people are not taking advantage of this amazing automobile. I really love this little car. It has been more fun to drive in the first couple thousand miles than any car I have ever owned. Im either blasting unsuspecting Hemi charger, and G35 coupe owners off the line, or trying to squeeze every mile out a charge. Either way I have just as much fun driving the car.

Yesterday a guy in a gigantic SUV thought he'd show the old man in the Korean minicar how fast his enormous tank could go. The intersection was angled such that he was a car length ahead of me to start with, so it took me almost two seconds to pass him.

I always let up on the voltpedal once they are safely in my rear view mirror, this lets the poor dears speed on by and feel vindicated.

The $500 discount is still being honored. I registered and then called on Feb 23. They gave me an email address to email the vehicle details. I received a call the same day and placed the order using credit card. The charger shipped the next day (Power Max™ 30A / 18ft cord).

I had nothing but problems with Bosch. I started the ordering process almost 2 months before my car was built and sent off the paperwork the day after the car finally arrived. I made the cutoff for the $500 instant rebate but honestly it really wasn't necessary as the dwp rebate covers the full price anyway. After my paperwork was successfully sent in I did not receive a follow up call to place the order. I emailed my sales lady and she apologized saying they were overwhelmed with orders because of the Earth Day promotion. I told her that was was not really my problem.
I finally received a call from the order processing dept and was sent an email stating my order had been placed and I would receive an email invoice in 2-3 days and could expect the charger within 10 business days. I hadn't received the email invoice 5 days later and sent off an email asking what the issue was. No response. I sent another email a few days after that, still no response. I cc'd the sales lady on both emails. No response from her either. I sent in a formal complaint to Bosch corporate. No response.
Today I called the order processing woman and she did not answer. I got an automated response saying her extension was not set up for voice mail.
I called the number for the sales woman and was put through to a completely different person who looked up my order number and told me my charger has not even been shipped yet. It's been 13 business days since I placed my order. She had no idea what the problem was/is and essentially had the rude attitude that it was not her problem and I would have to call back tomorrow to talk to someone who has been responding to any of my emails.
So I have been driving my electric car for 2 weeks without being able to charge it more efficiently for no good reason other than apparently Bosch does not want to sell or ship me their product. After I hung up from that enlightening phone conversation I sent an email to both the sales lady and order processing lady to cancel my order. I will NOT give such an inept uncaring company MY money. I purchased a Siemen on Amazon prime and will be receiving it in 2 days.
Just the WORST experience.
