Hello All
A few months back I bought a salvage titled '14 Spark EV that runs and drives fine, as a project car. This morning I opened the door to the car and the display was dead, and thus it seems the AGM battery is dead. While the car is in a somewhat heated garage, I suspect the cold weather this week plus battery age drained it.
Given the cold temps and the fact my wife and I are leaving tomorrow for holiday, I suspect there is no risk to main Lithium Ion battery? That battery had about 50% charge, which is where I like to keep it. Our garage is under our house, and just want to make sure there is no thermal runaway risk to the LI-Ion battery? Thx!
