Weber Auto looked into adding DC charging to a Bolt that didn't have it and found it couldn't be done. I would imagine since it's similar in layout to the Bolt, the Spark is in the same situation.

Thanks for the reply. Does not make sense that it could not be done unless Chevy is keeping something proprietary? Love the spark still have great range, bought car used a year ago. Put on 15,000 KM since.

Actually, it is possible. This has been discussed in several posts in this forum. This post in particular is from a shop that, I think, will do the conversion for you (for around $2000). They're in Canada. See:

Awesome thanks for your post Im on the other side of country in Qualicum Beach BC, now I know its possible just a matter of finding the right person or business to do it!!

At $2000 in 2015, wouldn't it be less expensive to just trade it in for one that already has DC charging from the factory?

A new bolt (sparks went out of production in 2016) is 40,000, Spark probably only 11,000 so say an extra 3 gives me range to all places I want to go I'm happy. Vancouver island has many DC fast charging stations!! And that is where the car will be used!! 7
