That would be me. :D I always get a chuckle when I see your "Murrica" Spark in the lot.
I've also written Doug Kind about getting SAE Combo chargers on campus, and have heard about his attempt to get a grant to cover the cost. Let's hope that CSUF is able to make it happen in the not too...
I was in the same situation as you back in June, and had it down between the 500e and the Spark EV as well. The 500e only had a couple benefits that I could see over the Spark EV: 6.6 kWh charging (as you've noted) and the option for a sunroof (which I've had on all my cars for the past 15...
I'm in the same boat as you two. The "remote" tab of the OnStar iPhone app is down to four buttons for me (Lock / Unlock / Horn & Lights / Stop Horn & Lights), and nothing more. I'm not sure if it's related, but I've also noticed that I haven't been getting the "Charging Complete" text message...
I also have to say that letting the air out of their tires probably wasn't the best choice, but leaving a note is certainly warranted (good on your wife for doing so). The thing is... as another person mentioned, the Leaf owner might not have known that "solid green" means charging. Plenty of...
It's an easy miss... but by chance do you have the light dimming for the dash turned down to the lowest setting?
If you got your screen back once you were outside, it leads me to think that your Spark "thought" it was in the dark previously, and was using the nighttime settings. Once out in...
Looks great! Thanks for posting up the pictures. I'd likely go to a professional car audio shop to have my work done, but it's helpful to have the photos to show them, in case the wiring is potentially different for EVs (since this is just for the audio, it might be the same a gas car... I have...
Not sure if it's the car or the charger, but I've also tried out the DCQC at Woodbury and found the charge times to be a touch slower than advertised on my Spark. Nice to know I'm not alone (and that the Quail Hill charger might be tricky to get going).
