Bluetooth no longer connecting?

Among the many niggly things that I've come to accept (door locks gone wild, tire pressure sensor fail, etc.), I've not yet asked the forum about this one. About a year ago, I lost bluetooth connectivity with my iPhone and it simply will not reconnect. Anyone else have this issue? I've assumed the Spark has an older, no longer supported version of bluetooth.

FWIW, mine still works 1026 model with Iphone 12 Mini latest IOS.

Have you tried doing a factory reset on the head unit and re-setting up?
Is the free level of On-Star still active? (Clue if its something specific to your car....)
