It will work only if your dryer outlet is a four prong socket. Older house will have three prong outlets.

That charger is called the TurboCord and you will need to make or buy and adapter to use it on a dryer outlet. I love mine.

The car will not let us do that. The ecu cuts power when the brake pedal is depressed.

I'd rather plan better and never run out of power. :ugeek:

I read the entire thread but still don't know what is being done here. Are you buying a Spark EV in Montreal and trying to bring it into the US? Or is it the other way around?

I like my AeronVironment dual voltage Turbo Cord. It's the smallest and lightest unit out there and it allows me to take it with me wherever I go. It is a 16 amp charger and costs $649. Mike
