    Rebate Check before carpool stickers!

It took 46 days for my rebate check to hit the mail from the day I mailed in the appropriate documents. Just got the confirmation email that the check was sent USPS today. Just thought I would share. Now if those damn carpool stickers would show up already. The release of another couple...

    Anyone got a better deal?

That's a great deal. My wife and I are really in love with this little car. We are going to come very close to the 35k mile limit our lease is allowing us. 2300 miles in 5 weeks so we are going to have some serious attention to that. With her 60 mile round trip daily for about 40 weeks out...

    Callback from Bosch?

Leased my Spark EV December 28th. Got a call from Bosch on Thursday without having to contact them, although it took a month. Charger shipped Friday. Went with the 30A for future. I can still take advantage of the LADWP rebate program as well, although I wont as there really is no need other...

    more beef upstream

Just make sure you size the breaker accordingly to this unit. I would not recommend installing a 50A breaker for a 20A unit.

I wonder how many dealers know about this?

I found this last night. Santa Monica needs some new clean energy cars. Looks like their civic CNG fleet is on the way out. http://www.americasbiz.net/bid-opportunities/2015/01/17/state/5/6018368-Furnish-and-Deliver-Eight-8-New-and-unused-Chevy-Spark-EV-1LT-Vehicles.html

    Chevy Spark EV Range Test, 97.8 miles @ 62mph, Aug 5, 2013

I'm willing to bet the lower temps may have had a little to do with the lower range. But the smaller battery is the reason for that loss no doubt.

This is what I wanted to hear. Perfect spot for me to be able to make not only Palm Springs, but Big Bear as well.

List of known SAE combo plug quick charge stations

Do you know of a definite location for a fUture SAE charger In the inland empire by any chance? My wife's parents live in Palm Springs and we would love to drive this car out there. Right now it is not feasible, but a couple dc chargers out there would for sure change all that.

List of known SAE combo plug quick charge stations

A new evGo combo SAE Chademo charger just went online in Manhattan Beach in front of the Freash and Easy on Roseceans and Aviation. Have not had a chance to use it, and I don't have any real faith in the reliability of the DC chargers, but it's one more on the map. N

Awesome database for tracking our cars.

When I signed up last night I was not sure it actually worked as I could not find my self in the database. Then I scrolled down a little and up popped Jane. These database for the volt is actually much cooler as it gives more data. Looks like onstar is only letting so much data to be looked at...

Anyone ever see this site before? Interesting to say the least. I just signed up and can't wait to compare how my my habits compare to others. It's too bad it does not show more data. Miles per kwh and charging stats ect. Still kinda cool non the less. http://www.voltstats.net/SparkEV

NRG EvGo SAE Combo chargers DO NOT WORK!

The NRG SAE charger in Hermosa Beach was working today. New i3 hooked up to it happily taking a charge. Those chargers don't get a ton of use. Hartley ever see s car hooked up to it. Although that could be because it's broken all the time. Really got a nice look inside the i3. Looks pretty...

    Best deal so far?

Touché. I never considered buying the car but still have that option after the lease. And let's face it in 3 years there will be some exciting options, so I felt this was our best option. Plus I can flog the car all I want without worry. Awesome little car. I own a BRZ as well and have to...

    Best deal so far?

So it finally came time for us to set the old 02 Cng crown Victoria with over 430k miles out to pasture. After doing a ton of research, lurking on all the EV forums, and looking for the best deal it was finally time to pull the trigger with EV sales starting to really slow down due to the gas...
