well my tires before were absolute garbage...so I noticed immediate improvements. But I do see 5-6kwh used on trips frequently.. I would not hesitate to purchase again.
Hey ... Sorry I just saw this!
I live in Yukon, about 1/4 mile from the OnCue Station. DCFC for us was a must...we have a Volt as well so it goes L2 at the house. The 20 minute 80% charge is awesome and did I mention...FREE!! lol
If you have not purchased yet, feel free to message me, Happy...
damn...maybe mine is showing low...I only have seen 78 as a high in mine. I have even driven "normal" and that is where it lands me. Most the time its showing 68-72.
Did that Spark have DCFC?
I would imagine in Cali or other states where there is a plethora of EV cars to choose from it would sit much longer if non DCFC in an area where it is readily available. I have 1 public station within 50 miles of me that is DCFC in OKC. Pretty sad. Luckily its free to...
I found several non DCFC Spark EV's while searching for over 2 months. They were from 6000-10k with low miles....but the DCFC cars I found typically were starting out at 9k up to 13k with the same miles. They really seem to pull a premium. I had to have the option so it made my search long...
Didn't care for the silver up front and the gold bow tie like most. Also covered the side chrome in Carbon tape. Much cleaner look.
The plasti-dip on the front is so close to a match its kinda spooky! It was just black dip with a quick 2 passes of metalizer which gives it some gloss and a nice...
Thanks for the replies everyone!
Yes I get to keep my stock ones and the damage is minor but since they offered excitedly I will go ahead. Found a nice set of Drag brand wheels we have on order and should be here this coming week Going to try the test fit. might need some hubcentric spacers...
I called today to get my Spark EV insured...its the most expensive car we have to insure...what the Hell!!??
More than my Trans Am, more than the Volt (same year) more than a 1500hp street truck and more than my silverado.
Makes no sense..almost half the cost of a Volt and $35/month higher...
No, not yet...actually the tire store will be ordering them for me and will ensure proper fitment as far as offset. I HOPE LOL
Thanks for looking out though! Pretty much was just a pic of what wheels I like for it.
Agree on all since I have both as well. They got rid of the push button charge door release in 2014 I believe was the first year...it works just like the Spark does on my 14.
They both have their little things that could be improved on. But I must admit driving the EV Spark is a fun little...
I went with the 195's all around last weekend when I got new tires. Went with the Firestone Fuel Fighters....LOVE THEM!! So quiet...great traction and already improving my charge miles immediately since the other tires were so worn and mismatched. I dont notice at all any difference in upsizing...
