    Hyundai Ioniq

Sadly pretty sub par performance numbers from all variants. They certainly look a lot nicer than Prius' so I hope that is the sales they cannibalize.

Has anybody tried these portable EVSEs ??

I have the Duosida and have had zero issues - it seems quality built, the materials used (at least subjectively) seem far superior to the GM EVSE that comes with the car.

    2014 sparke is great

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daytime_running_lamp#United_States And yes, it does improve people seeing our little cars. As for the DRLs...the watts they pull are so minuscule I doubt you could even measure their effect on range.

    2014 sparke is great

You can't permanently disable it. DRLs are a saftey thing, and GM actually kinda pioneered their use in the US...so you have to manually make a choice to make yourself less safe as turning off the Automatic headlights also disables the DRLs. Enjoy your new (to you) Spark man!

    Greener for the winter

4x100 and that ET there are tons of wheels that will fit - older watercooled VW alloys, hondas etc - I have a few Rabbit GTI snowflakes laying around...If I get a bee in my bonnet I might try bolting em on and see whats what. VW center bore was 57.1 as well - so if I am reading this right they...

    Aftermarket speakers?

No worries, I can take more pics as needed - those were just terrible low light stuff. Just ask Alpine for the part numbers you need, that page is sending you to authorized re-sellers of their parts...once you have the P/N you are good to go - I did see a harness on ebay, but its quality was...

    Greener for the winter

Skinnier the better for snow tires - thanks for the details! I think it looks pretty good actually and I have always done the same (winter tire and wheel set and a summer tire and wheel set).

    Aftermarket speakers?

HA! Nice! You will want to see if you can source the plug from Alpine - its unique to that amp. http://alpine-usa.com/support/parts This is the part - https://www.dropbox.com/sc/ws2z3ro08bbwlh0/AABTuhb2jeGviMIvdX3BCl4Za Is yours coming with the remote control knob for gain? If not, you'll...

Indeed! It surprises the hell out of me, I have to keep it turned way down most of the time.

Spare fuse slot on the fuse block for switched power, main power right to the 12v battery under the hood. -E

    Aftermarket speakers?

If anyone is actually looking for some bass, good lord this thing punches FAR above its weight, its full metal construction and perfect to mount to the back of the rear drivers side seat. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-Bwu05T8PTPv/p_500PWES8/Alpine-PWE-S8.html I had that installed along with...

Has anyone tried DIREZZA ZII STAR SPEC tires?

Might as well just leave the free Kumho 4x IIs I got from CarMax on the front - nope, I want cold tire grip.

    Cold Weather Range

Their literature says up to 90 miles range in 30 min, or 160 miles in an hour. That suggests pretty low kW to me. -E

    Cold Weather Range

Fortunately I have a short commute, so it didn't bother me much. Today's drive was the sort where my 20 mile round trip commute would have depleted the battery on my old 2013 Volt (theoretical max range of 38 miles in perfect conditions). It gets COLD here at night, we have big temp swings -...
