    Alarm going off randomly

So far it has happened unplugged in a parking where nobody was around, and a few times in my driveway plugged in with no one around. I have exercised the Hood switch a number of times, in case it was the culprit, as I never open that hood... if it happens again, I will try increasing the GM...

    Edmunds/Carmax offered me $10,100 for 2015 Spark--Should I Sell?

Interesting to hear the spark could be worth that much (thinking of a Bolt lately...) May I ask how Edmund / Carmax would know to offer you money for your car? Did you contact them initially? Thanks

Battery Degradation vs Battery Limited Warranty

at 11.3 kWh you are definitely over 35% wear, you should apply for a warranty claim :)

Battery Degradation vs Battery Limited Warranty

So here I am getting close to the end of my Battery Warranty (July 13th) on my Spark 2014. It is said to have a 21kWh battery, but an unknown Usable capacity value. I started with 16.1 kWh usable at 52,000 miles in Jan 2017, and after a steady decline over the years, I am now at 12.8 kWh at...

    Battery degredation

I don't think that the usable capacity of a 2014 is actually 21kWh, but no one knows for sure :) I think assuming 18.5kWh usable is safer and so waiting until it drops under 12kWh usable should be the way to go if time permits. Of course if your battery warranty is about to expire around...

    2016 vs 2014

When using the car console numbers, try to take the numbers when both the kWh and the % change at the same time. That will reduce the rounding errors. Also if possible take numbers when there is no conditioning value as this increases the magnitude of rounding errors by 50%

    Battery degredation

The energy screen does take the regen braking into account. If you go down a hill with a lot of regen, you will see the kWh and % go down together, so regen or not the extrapolated usable capacity calculated from these numbers will be the same regardless of how much regen you had. Regen has...

    Place Key in Transmitter Pocket

Thanks, but no the battery were installed right. I bought a new set of batteries, and these worked. The only difference is they were CR2032H instead of CR2032. No idea why the other ones did not work, especially as they were putting out 3,2V.

    KeyFob / receiver problem

Just ran into a keyFob problem. I only have one Spark and 2 keyfobs for it. Keyfob did not open the car, so I went ahead and changed the battery, nothing Got the spare keyfob, put a brand new battery in (both batteries tested at 3.2V) nothing I can open and start the car with the key inserted...
