Lots of stop and go driving in L.
I have a pretty flat 40 mile commute each way. Elevation change of about 200 feet with very little climbing or drops. In rush hour LA traffic where I'm getting regular regen for about half the drive, I often get 6.0+ m/kWh. So if you have 17.5 usable, 6.0...
I meant to post a follow to my speaker upgrade from like a year ago. I went with:
front Kicker 40CS44
rear Kicker 40CS464
sub Kenwood KSC-SW11
You will see from the pic how I mounted the sub completely hidden in the cubby where the portable charger goes...
Maybe I missed something in the manual or maybe my car has a bug.
I will turn on the fan with the recirc button set to fresh/outside air. With the fan set on "1" or "2" but the Temp control OFF, the Climate Power usually reads around 6-8%. But at random times, the temperature control kicks on...
The Kenwood sub is now in... It won't win any car shows awards but this is massively better than before.
I didn't even bother with the remote. I'm more than happy. My 3 hour round trip commutes just got a lot better.
I just got the Kicker 40CS44 and 46's for front and back. What a difference. The Kenwood sub is on the way!
I shoulda done this a year ago.
I didn't see any reference to it in earlier posts but I am guessing the head unit does not have RCA outs. Is that right.
Is anybody else still having a problem with the status refresh? Mine is hosed and OnStar doesn't seem to have much to offer other than uninstall and reinstall the app.
Clarity... the 140 MPEGe number was from the app. Nerd alert... I also worked up a spreadsheet before I got my car to see what my savings would be versus my other car.
My actual out of pocket has varied but overall is about the same. Since I don't have my 240 charger installed at home I...
That's pretty slick. I'm not a fan of the silver grille. I've never heard of that product but will definitely look into it.
When you say the plasti-dip peels off that makes it sound like it's a bit flimsy. How does it hold up to random pieces of freeway debris like small rocks?
140 MPGe after 2600 miles. I seem to usually land somewhere around 4.8-5.0 mi/kWh.
I'm happy with it so far and the kids dig the wifi... so I got that going for me. 2600 miles in my first two months - and I expect the mileage to climb. I'll probably end up doing 20k miles a year and saving...
