    Battery degredation

So 28,400 miles....14.8 kwh =1.3 kwh loss in a bit over a year. Seems fine considering I charge daily during the week on the 8a or occasionally 12a setting. Btw I believe I figured out our 'new' usable capacity for 15' and 16's. Kind of right in our faces the whole time....you guys judge if it...

    Torque pro battery capacity guess...

My 2015 read 14.8 kwh with 28,400 miles on it today. I have to go back to the thread I originally posted in...I think it was 16.1kwh in july 2018 with around 20k miles. Nothing I'm concerned about if all that is accurate with daily charges all week over the last year. I don't see an issue with...

    100,000 miles on Spark

Congrats, very nice!!! Out of curiosity, any chance you might list service visits, parts replaced, little nagging issues or anything along those lines down to the smallest details? Would be interesting to know how many kwh/mwh/gwh the car has consumed from wall to wheels in 100k miles. Again...

Steering column key slot cover came off - Should I buy it?

They likely had if off because that is where you put the key fob when the battery in the fob goes dead. I think it is also where the key fob goes when programming a new fob. As long as you don't have to drive the car with the fob in the dummy ignition, it should be fine.

    12,094 vs 20,709 battery replacement??

That is actually just the battery tray, #2 on the diagram, #1 is the whole complete pack, $12,800 smackaroos. However I'm sure if purchasing the whole pack a massive discount should apply for the core charge, which is strange it is not mentioned. I would think final cost would be around 5-7k...

    LED lights ?

Sorry norton, I can't figure out how to post a photo. :?

Check Engine Light - Code P0713

After looking at the repair procedure for changing the trans oil temp sensor, would likely be a good idea to take it in. Sensor appears to live in the oil pan, so only way is to remove the pan and of course the fluid, but filling the fluid is the tricky part as you have to have the pump running...

    LED lights ?

I will try to get a good pic and figure out how to post it here. Once installed the light spread and focus was the first thing I looked at. With the led chips positioned on the left and right sides only, the light pattern is very similar to stock and is taking advantage of the reflector...

Check Engine Light - Code P0713

Only way to drain is remove the oil pan. I went ahead and shelled out $30 for a year of chilton diy and it has the whole process, a little more complicated than a typical automatic trans fluid/filter change. I'll see what help I can give if any info is needed as well as learn some other specs...

    LED lights ?

LASFIT H13/9008 LED Headlight... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H8VILFY?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf I am happy with these, might be a bit on the blue side for some, plug and play, just haven't had them in long..only a week so far. Along with reverse, license plate and brake lights (brake lights only none...

First (and only) Failure @ 54k miles.

I been watching the 12v battery through torque....hopefully have a good idea when mine starts to wain...12.7 volts base and see 14.4 volts for short off and on periods. And thanks for posting part# norton. Btw the factory replacement is available on rockauto for 162.xx shipped if anyone...

    Battery degredation

I agree, still nice you can compare between the two battery types for fun if nothing else. A123 cells are said to be quite robust so wouldn't surprise me if tms cooling is set to run at much higher temps.

Check Engine Light - Code P0713

Norton, part of the change should include a filter change...very similar to an automatic trans oil pan and filter. Still need to crawl under sparky and check it out, but I seen the trans filter listed on rock auto for all spark ev with corresponding gear ratios for each year. Thanks for...

    Battery degredation

Tms will run on 120v, it's an "as needed" case depending on battery temp, not much heat is generated from 8a or 12a charging. When charging 240 or dcfc the tms will run since the cells will generate more heat with the faster charge. For the record, I haven't used 240v charging so can't be sure...

Check Engine Light - Code P0713

I downloaded the 2014 owners manual and under service and maintenance it says to change electric drive unit fluid 97,500mi with no time stated and this info doesn't exist in the 2015 manual. Do you have your 2016 owners manual, page 11-4 should have the drive units info on interval. Guess it is...
