I went into the dealership for the update with pretty much a full charge too with GOM reading about 100 miles when I got there (104 miles before I left for the dealership) and after the update it was essentially the same (~99 miles). Perhaps they were drag racing your car!!! :D

I 'm doing my bit to help disperse them since I and my wife have now introduced two Spark EVs to CT. Bought the second one (a new Salsa Red 2016 LT2 with DCFC with only 55 miles on it) at the very end of 2017.
