    Sudden loss of capacity

    I've been tracking my capacity with Torque Pro, and it's been holding steady at 15.2 kWh since March of 2020. Range on a full charge has been running around 68 miles. A little low, but I don't have the original tires on it, and my usual trips are downhill on a full charge (so not much regen)...

    OnStar StabiliTrak warning -- false alarm?

    While my wife was out driving today, I got an email message from OnStar: My wife didn't notice any problems, I don't see any error lights, and the car seems to drive normally for me. Torque Pro does not indicate any new fault codes. Should I take the car in for service?

    Would a Volt key fob shell work for a 2015 Spark EV?

    The rubber keypad is worn out on one of my 2015 Spark EV key fobs and I would like to replace it (the keypad or the entire shell). I see that a 5 button fob shell for the Volt is listed on ebay, and it looks identical to the fob for my Spark, complete with the correct EV symbols. I was going...

    Should I keep the OnStar subscription?

    I declined the OnStar service as soon as I took delivery of my Spark EV, mostly because I use the car only around town and I have a cell phone with me in case anything happens. Should I have kept the service? The only thing that I can think of that I might want is over-the-air software...
