    My ReFuel TT experience

Got to glimpse your first TT lap in the rear view here during my 2:21 TT run. Spark EV definitely had better power/weight than the Fit EV. Spark EV is on my list of replacements for Fit EV. But current on-board charger is a handicap that would have made my trip from Simi Valley take two days...

    Spark EV Quick Charging Overview

An email Friday (3/14) said "There has been a delay in the opening of the SMUD dual format fast charger. Legal issues need to be resolved before opening.". So sounds not to be open yet.

    Suggestions: Dear Chevrolet

It should be standard, but at least an option for a 6.6kW+ on-board charger. Many public charge sites bill by the hour. And 7 hours to charge vs. 3-4 hours for all the competitors? 6.6kW is a must-have.

Great review with great pics of the Chevy Spark EV

This is a review of the ICE version. No mention of the Spark EV. But it is correct in pointing out the Spark breaks with the US sub-compact tradition of "Cheap". Currently, only about 5% of US car buyers will consider buying a sub-compact size vehicle. The Spark could change that. We will see if...

Chevrolet Adds Another EV to its fleet with Chevy Spark

Charging from standard 120 volt household plugs is called Level 1, or L1. Charging from 240 volt power (like you would use for an electric clothes dryer or cooking range) is called Level 2, or L2. The on-board charger is what turns electricity into power to charge the car. A more powerful...

Chevrolet Adds Another EV to its fleet with Chevy Spark

Chevy Spark EV site is quoting 20 hours to charge on 120 volts (8 amp defalt setting) and 7 hours at 240 volts (probably at ~15 amps). Not sure what other pilot settings are available on 120 volt cord set. Also noticed the SAE Combo QC option is called "Out-of-home" charging option", and is...
