I also love this car. The main annoyance to me is the inability to park it, sit in it and listen to the radio for more than 10 minutes without having to restart it. And the lack of ability to flash the high beams. If I drove fast that would be a deal breaker. Just a major annoyance now.

When it happens take a video. My info screen malfunctioned and the dealer couldn't replicate it. He told me to take a video, which I did, making them a dvd of it, and that did the trick. They replaced the head unit. Good luck.

It has been suggested to others in locations where the Spark ev isn't marketed that they check with local Chevy dealers before purchasing. I believe for the most part any dealer that services the Volt can service the Spark ev. Good luck to you. I think it would be cool to have the only one around.

Took it in today and they replaced the audio screen. They could not duplicate the noise in the vent again but ordered a replacement and will install it. Hopefully a good ending. I'm not happy that I had the problem of course, but customer service has been good. Fingers crossed for the future :)

Assuming you got it new in California, go back to the dealer and insist that they prepare the car for the required front plate. There should be a rather sturdy black plastic plate holder intalled on the front.
