What scrambler said.... :D It shouldn't be a problem charging from your garage outlet with the charger alone. I'd add that if you can find a Spark EV with the Level 3 charging option (DCFC/Fast Charging) that would make access around the Tahoe region even that much easier, but probably not...

That's very hard to guess. The main factors will be falling cost of battery technology which will (almost certainly) be much cheaper than today. See this chart at Business Insider for an example of how rapidly the technology is changing and costs dropping...

The Manual specifies to keep the car plugged in for (up to) 4 weeks of storage, so presumably the circuitry keeps the 12v optimal while plugged in.

Lack of DCFC makes it pretty 'remote'. You could investigate going through Lancaster and Mojave [58] but that's several hours of Level 2 charging with the infrastructure available. Maybe stop to take in a (long) movie en route?

Looking online today in SoCal there's only a few of the Lime and Salsa 2LT models left out there. All remaining inventory coming out of Korea will be either White or Silver according to the Chevy websites (US and KR); so quite soon the last of the Blue and Blacks will be selling out as well...

Actually, that's very interesting, so for low-income lessees the CVRP rebate -$4000 could cover the lease payments? My math comes up differently, but maybe I'm missing something... though it is still insanely cheap.

This may become the most infuriating thing about the prospect of looking for a used Spark EV, is the lack of disclosure by many used car vendors whether the car has DCFC or no until you contact them to ask... it should've been part of the branding upfront "Spark EV Plus" or something, but no.

Haven't seen this posted here, but currently many dealers are offering a 20% off MSRP deal when you buy a new 2016 Spark EV. That's over $5000 off (the recently lowered MSRP). Anyone still waiting to buy, it might be 'finally time' to wrangle a deal, especially while there's still all body...
