Me too. Neither the app (iOS 9) nor webpage work. I spent some time with OnStar and they acknowledge they couldn't connect to the car and pushed some sort of update (I think) and said it should work. When it didn't, they also suggested uninstalling and reinstalling the app, which I dutifully...

Is it possible you left the car ON by mistake? I sometimes do that after driving my Tesla where I don't have to turn it on/off...

Having done dozens of local EV car shows and interacting with the general public, I can tell you that "the battery" is their biggest fear and the single item they worry about most. While what they did is the correct and expedient thing to do, the truth...

The implication that it NEEDED a new battery is problematic because it paints a bad picture to neophytes. It probably didn't. However, if they CHOSE to install a new battery in the interest of expedience, that's great.

I suspect a clerical error. Somebody didn't realize it hadn't been titled and was pricing it as used as if the credits were already used up. What a steal.

I don't think that's what he was saying. He was suggesting you could hack the charger to UPGRADE the electrical components - and THEN all would be well. Could well be the case if you know what you're doing and all the attendant wiring was up to the higher load.

I'm betting you're not a fan of real leather seats for the same reasons... We have the leatherette and like it well enough. It's not leather by any stretch, but conveys most of the same benefits.

Your thread title is a little misleading. You really should include the down payment in the cost quoted...

For what it's worth, you will always lose thousands ON ANY CAR when selling it a few months after purchase. This is even more pronounced on electric vehicles where there are state and federal incentives only available to new buyers and not used sales. That has to come off the top when reselling.
