From your 1st post, it seems like you're in NY state. If you decide to become a test case of getting service and/or warranty work done outside the states where the Spark EV is sold, good luck. I think many will be interested to hear how well that goes, or not.

And, they'd taken steps long ago to strongly discourage it from being sold to those outside CA. Earlier on, numerous folks outside CA were buying their CA ZEV compliance car...
