    These cars are very picky about their 12V batteries. Mine was working fine one day and went belly up the next. I replaced it and it was like nothing happened.

    Like I wrote, I went direct to the dealer parts dept., and they checked with GM Global Connect, while I was standing there. You can't go by those online sites, it's just a program that they subscribe to.

    You may want to post that all over media that the battery is discontinued. Who is "they" that's offering you a buyback, is it the dealer, or GM themselves that contacted you?

    The correct fluid for the drive is GM# 19369363 Dexron 212B. This fluid is specifically for all GM plug-ins only, except for the Gen 1 Volt. The Spark EV is listed on the back of the bottle.
